Joy-Con Disassembly Jig

This jig makes disassembling a Nintendo Switch Joy-Con easier. The thumbstick on a Joy-Con prevents it from sitting flush on your repair surface, so I designed this jig to hold a Joy-Con nice and level. This design supports both left and right Joy-Con and allows you easy access to the internal components without needing to completely disconnect the back of the Joy-Con or have it dangle freely. Two tabs assist in holding the back of the Joy-Con down and separate from it's base. While the two divots on the side make removing either part of the Joy-Con from the jig effortless. I was inspired to design this when trying to shoot a disassembly video for my YouTube channel. Not only is dealing with the Joy-Con's tiny ribbon cables and fragile connectors something that requires complete focus and care, but getting a good camera angle while doing so makes everything that much more difficult. This jig puts the Joy-Con in a level and open position making the work easier. This license is for personal use only. Please do not sell the file or prints made with it.
