Journal Pen Holder
thingiverse
This is a writing instrument holder that could be attached along the fore, head or tail of the journal/book cover instead of the spine. The diameter of the pen, thickness of the journal/book cover and width of the holder can be adjusted using OpenSCAD or Customizer (http://www.thingiverse.com/apps/customizer/run?thing_id=1782329). Updates are continuously made to this writing instrument holder. On September 24th, 2016, a bug was fixed, resulting in no small gap appearing on the bottom side between cover and pen clip. Additionally, an option for printing position was added. Print settings can be customized to fit your specific needs. Choose from various printer brands, including RepRap. Select your desired printer model, such as Prusa i3. Decide whether or not to use rafts or supports during the printing process. Set the resolution to 0.2mm and infill percentage to 100%. Finally, note that it's recommended to print on the holder side, or select "Print: Yes" from Customizer for optimal results.
