Joshuarobot Cat Feeder

I built this cat feeder using my own hands. The original version was crafted from scratch with legos and trash. It operates with a lego NXT motor as the driving force and an arduino to power it up. Check out my blog post for the original feeder to see how it works: https://joshuarobotprojects.wordpress.com/2016/04/29/automatic-cat-feeder/ Print Settings Printer Brand: RepRap Printer: Makerfarm Pegasus 8 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 30mm Infill: 40% Notes: There are several large parts that need to be printed. I began using blue PLA and switched to white PETG. Post-Printing I assembled the printed pieces prior to assembly. The assembly process required some finesse. To get the hopper to have two large openings, I decided to print two separate parts. I glued them together using a strong adhesive. I then sealed the hopper and spinner with a protective coating. I was a little concerned about it being food safe. Finally, I used a power tool to finish the horizontal notches on the lid and base so that the hopper could be locked into place.
