Joseph Lister, Baron Lister (1827-1912), a trailblazing surgeon, left an indelible mark on the medical world by implementing groundbreaking improvements in surgical techniques that forever changed the face of surgery. His pioneering introduction of antiseptic methods sent shockwaves throughout the medical community, cementing his legacy as a visionary pioneer. This striking sculpture is a masterfully crafted bronze replica created in 1922 from an original marble bust crafted in 1913 by renowned sculptor Sir Thomas Brock (1847-1922).
