Joseph Joseph totem catch repair
thingiverse
Recently my Joseph Joseph totem bin's catch snapped off. Since I received this expensive bin as a house warming gift, I wasn't eager to replace the entire container. Moreover, Joseph Joseph doesn't offer spare parts for their products, so I decided to design a repair part using Fusion. This replacement part fixes the broken lugs on the catch. Depending on how your bin's catch broke, you might need to sand down its sides slightly to get it to fit properly. To attach this part, apply some superglue along the bottom edge only. Avoid gluing the sides as the lugs won't be able to move and it will be challenging to assemble. This repair part was printed in Sunlu PLA+ at 100% infill.
