I gave one of my shoes a casual scan for kicks, using nothing but a Panasonic G7 and no fancy equipment whatsoever. I'm really stoked with how the texture came out - it's spot on - and the scan itself was top-notch too. Had to do some touch-ups in Zbrush, though, cleaning up a bit here and there and smoothening out some rough areas to get it just right!
