This provides a crucial component not offered by the manufacturer, necessary for securing the Jokab/ABB Inca 22 e-stop switch firmly. To ensure a solid mounting, purchase the switch with Jokab/ABB's adhesive e-stop legend disc attached. Although the tool aids in tightening, the switch can still rotate without the adhesive disc. The index tab on this switch is delicate and too short to engage the legend disc and panel securely, requiring it to lock onto the adhesive disc instead. As a former employee of Intek Systems (also known as Neff Automation), a Jokab reseller, I created this tool to address the mounting issue. The STL file includes support structures that facilitate vertical printing. Print with supports enabled in your slicing software and set for 30 degrees overhang or higher to accommodate the three horizontal rods and curved area above the hex nut effectively. The hole and cavity through the hex nut into the tool's interior were designed to promote shell walls and strengthen the transition from the hex nut to the hollow barrel. To ensure a proper fit, print with the hex nut detail facing down on the build plate and the open barrel facing up. This allows the jam nut provided by Jokab to fit securely in the tool. Some users prefer to retain the support structure for hand tightening, while others remove it after printing and opt for using a socket wrench. Consider making a test print that only prints the top 1/2 inch (or 13mm) of the tool to verify nut recess sizing without printing the entire tool. This way, if the nut fits too tightly or loosely, you can adjust the size by a few percent to create an optimal tool for Jokab-ABB Inca users.
