JOJO (the friendly caterpillar)

This is JOJO, the friendly caterpillar, who may have been familiar from books or animated films. He now comes to life in an entirely new and exciting world. This print is primarily designed for kindergarten classrooms, where the curriculum includes standard reading. I recall that when I was in kindergarten, we saw a book about a caterpillar, but it was merely a crude representation through paste art, and you couldn't really make out the caterpillar very well. That's why I created this visual aid, which utilizes simple shapes to facilitate understanding for individuals with impairments. The inspiration behind this project came from my aunt's classroom issue - she had a child who was blind and couldn't see the caterpillar in the book. So, I printed this out for him, and now it's his second favorite toy next to Thomas! Furthermore, if you're concerned about choking hazards, rest assured that the curve of JOJO makes it impossible for anyone under six to even attempt to put it in their mouth.
