Joist GoPro Mount

Joist GoPro Mount

thingiverse

My workspace is located in the basement, where I record videos of various projects using my GoPro camera. To avoid working around a tripod that's always in the way, I utilize this mount that attaches to the floor joists overhead - now the camera no longer obstructs me. Note that this setup does not screw into the joists; instead, two bolts create enough pressure for the mount to have a secure grip on the joist above. This print requires some additional items, which you might already have on hand: * A 0.5-inch rod of suitable length to reach from the floor joists to where you'd like your GoPro to be. I used aluminum, but anything else will work just fine. * Four M6 nuts that are captive in the design. Refer to the printing instructions below for brief guidance on how to configure your print to automatically pause at the right moments so you can insert each nut. * Four 20mm+ M6 bolts.
