Jointed doll BJD. Her name is Lantea and she's a labor of love, as modeling articulated dolls has become my true passion. Visit my website to see a showcase of this project: http://www.soniaverdu.es The figure is comprised of 31 intricately designed pieces (including two for the back of the head with hair and without) Each piece is connected by elastic cords measuring 2 mm in diameter, providing all that's needed to assemble Lantea once the pieces are printed. It's essential to tighten these elastic cords to their maximum potential. Watch this video for a detailed look at the assembly process: www.youtube.com/watch?v=t0PhdM... You'll notice three different printing methods showcased in the images: Stereolithography (SLA) using Form 2 Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) with Makerbot Selective Laser Sintering (SLS) Download two types of files to suit your needs: Pieces Without Support Pieces With Small Supports for FDM I hope you have a blast printing Lantea!
