Joiner for Closetmaid hanger rods

I had to utilize two distinct pieces of Closetmaid brand 3/4" hanger rods in my closet and needed to join them together seamlessly. This joint fits snugly inside each rod end, forming a secure connection. The 6.4mm (1/4") length between the ends of the rods is precisely calculated to ensure a sturdy bond. The flat side is designed to facilitate printing on its side without support, while also guaranteeing that the filament grain direction is perpendicular to the shear direction. I printed at a layer height of 0.1mm, prioritizing smoothness over other factors. Infill density was not a major concern for me, so I kept it at 20%. The more infill, the better - or so the saying goes.
