The Johnson Family Monument stands tall in Oak Grove Cemetery, La Crosse Wisconsin, bearing witness to the lives of three loved ones. Alonzo Johnson met his untimely demise on May 30, 1860, at just 35 years young. His devoted wife, A. Antionette Johnson, cherished every moment with him until her own passing on June 19, 1891, when she was 63 years old and still going strong. Their young son, Arthur, left an indelible mark on the family's history before his untimely departure on June 26, 1863, at a tender age of just 9 years and 9 months.
