This slightly larger than life bronze sculpture showcases John the Baptist, a masterpiece created by renowned Italian sculptor Giuliano Vangi in 1996 and officially presented to the city in 1997. Born on March 13, 1931, Vangi is an accomplished artist who received the Praemium Imperiale prize for sculpture in 2002, a prestigious honor often regarded as the Nobel Prize of Arts. This remarkable object is part of "Scan The World", a groundbreaking non-profit initiative launched by MyMiniFactory.
