John Hammond's Cane Wall Mount Display (Jurassic Park Prop)

I wanted a display for my John Hammond walking stick. Mine is a remix I made from Nighthawk8562 (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6507103). This wall display is designed to fit that specific cane. I saw that Chronicle Collectibles was selling one with a very nice wall mount, so I tried to replicate it with 3d models that I found on the Thingiverse. Since it is an imitation of a product that is currently on sale, it's obvious to say that it is not allowed to use it for commercial purposes, so use it only for your own enjoyment. To place the cane on the display, you need to insert it diagonally into the hook. This way, it will be fixed to the display and will not fall by accident.The hole on the back is designed for screws up to 5mm in diameter. Since it is a piece that should not support too much weight, those screw gauges will be enough.This model can be printed without supports or extra adhesion to the bed (brim or raft). Just use a thin layer of hairspray, to make sure.With the print settings I recommend, it is supposed to take about 17 hours to print (at 60mm/s speed) and will use about 125g of filament.Thanks to the creator of the original model, and to Chronicle Collectibles for the fantastic design!If you like it, consider tipping ;)04/03/24: After doing several tests I was able to verify that the hook broke quite easily. I have separated the hook from the main body so it could be easily replaced if it broke again, without having to reprint the entire model. In addition, when printed horizontally it will be more resistant to vertical traction.The hook can be screwed to the main body from behind with a ØM3,5 x 12mm screw.
