John Deere Chute Lever Knob with Rocker Switch for Chute Actuator

This is a hydraulic chute control knob used on John Deere Garden Tractor like the 318, 322, 332, 420... that I specially design so It has a rocker switch inside to be used to control an electric chute actuator. It's nice, you can rotate and control chute elevation in one go. The switch is an Uxcell a16071800ux0258 AC 16A/250V 20A/125V 6 Pin DPDT 3 Position Snap in Boat Rocker Switch available on Amazon (Spring loaded center OFF) or on Digikey: https://www.digikey.com/en/products/detail/e-switch/R5GBLKBLKHF0/1805340 The switch is glued on the knob with Hot Melt Glue. (If the switch need to be removed, simply use a few drops of isopropyl alcohol and the Hot Melt Glue bond will be eliminated). The switch is connected to 2 relays for the chute actuator so not to damaged the switch after prolong use. To remove the original knob, I use a pair of Vise-grip on the Hydraulic lever just below the knob and use a nail puller on top of the Vise-grip for leverage. Once the 3D printed Knob with Rocker switch is installed on the lever, I use a balloon to cover the whole knob to protect from water, dust... I made this 3 years ago and still working like a champs... I will post actual photo shortly and some wiring diagram...
