This 3D model was originally created with Sketchup 8 and then converted to all other 3D formats. Native format is .skp, 3dsmax scene is 3ds Max 2016 version, rendered with Vray 3.00. It's my 100th MODEL!!! With something as important as this, I decided to give you a special treat! Many of you are familiar with and admire the work of Sir Frank Lloyd Wright, so when I had the chance to upload one of his creations, I thought, Why not? Although several users have uploaded houses designed by Frank Lloyd Wright, none have included this particular house. This unique home was built in 1940 on a steep hillside overlooking beautiful Lake Mendota in Wisconsin. Its construction is notable for using stone counterforts and diagonal ship-lap siding. The home's design is also remarkable for its low ceilings, with the first floor reaching just 6'9" and the second floor topping out at 7'6". I recreated this house precisely as it stands today, including every detail such as the original section lines, scaled floor plan, and images from the internet. Take a closer look at the interior, even the ceilings, fireplace, stone-lined patio, carport, and basement rafters are meticulously accurate. The second floor features three small bedrooms with built-in beds and one bathroom. I'm particularly proud of adding the famous origami chairs in the living room, which weren't part of the original plan but have become a beloved feature. These unique chairs were created by my good friend Jeff Myers (JATdesigns), while everything else was crafted by me. Enjoy this model, and feel free to explore all the layers – I hope you have as much fun browsing through it as I did creating it! You can now also find me on Facebook!
