After accidentally dropping a cooking pot onto our induction heated plate, we knew we had to replace it right away. The new one boasted a sleek, magnetic jog dial that could be easily detached from the plate for effortless cleaning. However, I needed a convenient spot to store this valuable feature when not in use. So, I took matters into my own hands and created a bespoke holder for it. To bring my vision to life, I used Fusion 360 to design the model. Initially, I printed a prototype without the rounded edges that I later added as an afterthought. Unfortunately, I didn't consider the magnetic jog dial when modeling the holder, which led to an unforeseen issue: the screw would attract the magnetic holder instead of securing it properly. To resolve this problem, I opted for a more practical solution – using double-sided tape to stick it firmly to the wall.
