Joey's Router Compass
thingiverse
Craft a wood router jig for cutting large circles, sized to fit your router's mounting ring. Laser cut the jig from 5mm tri-ply "wood," then treat it with linseed oil. The jig features a big hole aligned with the ring, three holes matching the router's bolt pattern, and a ruler groove for anchoring. Use a pink laser to etch ruler tick marks. A blue edge line helps guide cutting. Alternatively, print the design on paper and attach it to thin wood before routing or dremeling. For smaller projects, consider using a Dremel 566 Tile Cutting Kit instead of a router.
