Joe's paint-cups
thingiverse
My airbrush is fantastic. Running out of the specific shade I'm using halfway through a project is frustrating. I came up with these small snap-fit cups to make larger batches of specific shades for re-use and storage. They have notches for easy opening, and a built-in spout for pouring small amounts of paint into my airbrush cup. While I wouldn't recommend carrying these in your backpack or purse while full of paint, they keep my colors from drying out and don't seem to leak while sitting on my shelf with the rest of the paint supplies. I've tested them by dropping them full of water and they held up perfectly. This is a tight fit. My printer needs to be accurate. I printed the ones shown at 50% scale and 100% infill. I found that with a couple of them, after snapping them together, I was not able to pull them apart until the next morning. It's like the plastic needed time to relax? If you can't seem to snap them together at all, warm them up a little bit and they go together perfectly, as long as you don't overdo it.
