Jobo CPP-3 overflow adjuster
thingiverse
The Jobo CPP-3 processing machine's water overflow port is situated at a significantly lower location compared to the CPP-2, resulting in inadequate water levels inside the machine. This change was allegedly made to comply with updated EU regulations, but it appears that Jobo has not adjusted the rest of their design to accommodate this modification. The machine comes equipped with a T-connector attached to the overflow port, intended for use as both a vent and a drain. To address this issue, I have created a replacement part that optimizes the inlet and outlet positions to achieve higher water levels within the machine. Two distinct models are available, each featuring different separations to suit individual preferences. This part is designed in the style of a standard 3/4-inch barbed hose attachment. Users with Jobo machines residing in sinks should only need to connect it directly to the overflow port, while those with units positioned next to sinks may require connection as depicted in the accompanying photo. Hose clamps are highly recommended for secure connections. The vertical tube included is an additional safeguard against splashing water, although it is not strictly necessary.
