JL Wrangler Winch Circuit Breaker Mount for Warn VR Evo 10S or Similar

This mount is designed to hold a circuit breaker for a Warn VR Evo 10S winch on 2018 or newer Jeep JL or JLU Wrangler. I selected the Buss MRCB 200A DC Circuit Breaker for this application, as it adequately handles the expected 350A DC Load that the Winch draws based on trip time graphs for this thermal breaker. I designed this mount to utilize an existing hole and tab in the JL passenger fender. It is constructed to wedge under that tab and features an upward knob that secures it in place. For added stability, use a washer and self-tapping screw onto that knob to fully secure it to the vehicle. Alternatively, you can use some 3M VHB tape at the bottom for extra stability if you opt for a large breaker like the one I chose. In the end, I opted for a single self-tapping screw on the side due to my lack of VHB tape. During extreme off-roading, I wondered if there was a chance for this mount to rotate, so once I decided I really liked it and it survived a few trips off-road, I drilled that second screw in place to make it extremely secure. This mount is incredibly solid despite its compact size. It will support the weight of the breaker and cables and withstand vibrations. Print this mount in ABS or ASA or any material that can resist engine bay temperatures. I used ABS, printing this solid with maximum walls, 100% infill, on its side without supports needed. I have tested this mount off-road over day-long trips on several trails, and it holds up great. This setup allows me to simply flip the breaker ON when I am going off-road and then leave it OFF when I am not on trails. My primary concern was having large gauge wires directly connected to the battery that could get pinched and cause a disaster in an accident. With this setup, that is no longer a worry. While I tried the 12" wire, it was too short to adequately run and not have it cross the top of the battery. Therefore, I recommend at least 18-20 inches.
