JJP Pirates of the Caribbean Map Disk for wall art

This is a map disk to fill the gaping hole in the center of a Jersey Jack Pirates of the Caribbean playfield. Many of us have spare Pirates playfields and what better than making some non-destructive wall art out of them!? I decided to make a disk that looks similar to the original Pirates of the Caribbean prototype that Jersey Jack made. This will work as a static piece to fill the map hole, or if you are lighting yours it works wonderfully with backlights. ### For the disk - Print the disk at .2mm layer height and no rafts brim or supports are needed - Black PLA Filament works Best - **Note:** Depending on your playfield you may need to add a piece of black electrical tape around the disk to get it to fit snugly. ### For the Inserts - Print the disk at .1mm - 1.5mm layer height and no rafts brim or supports are needed, you will need 6x of these. - You will need [translucent / transparent PLA](https://www.amazon.com/SUNLU-Filament-Transparent-Dimensional-Accuracy/dp/B07ZNG4L9P/ref=sr_1_5?dchild=1&keywords=translucent+pla&qid=1620849130&sr=8-5) for the inserts ### Assembly ## [Download the Map Disk Image Here](https://www.dropbox.com/sh/vvfffm4wjs80m3p/AAB7hiYQKR1oXeryUpof9In2a?dl=0) 1. Use some spray adhesive to attach the map disk art to the disk. 2. Use a light behind the disk the help you adhere the map art accurately 3. Use a hobby knife to trim the inserts and edges of the art 4. put the disk face down and push the inserts into the holes in the disk 5. Use some super glue on the inside around the insert edges to adhere.
