Jiusion USB microscope clamp mount
thingiverse
The Jiusion and similar microscopes come with a stand that's universally regarded as useless. Luckily I had some old microscope stands to hand. This is a mount that you can use/adapt to fit on to other stands. I've tried to make the mount a close copy of the one that comes with the microscope. The clamp comes in two versions. Version One (tube fit) is a push fit on to a horizontal rod/bar. Both my stands use 9mm round bar. The fit is quite tight - I had to use a 9mm twist bit to ease out the hole to make it fit. Version Two (bolt fit) has a hole suitable for a M4 bolt or machine screw. I've also included an extension arm that you can use to mount the microscope if your stand is too high (see the picture of the stand with the rotating adjuster). It press fits on the 9mm rod part of the stand. The hole at the other end can be used to mount the bolt style of clamp. The hole is 3mm. This gives you the option of drilling out to a tapping size and tapping an m4 thread (that's what I did) or you can drill the hole out to a clearance size and use a nut and bolt, or possibly even use a self-tapping screw or CA glue. The arm comes in two lengths - use whichever one suits your purpose. Print the clamp mount with supports touching the bed - use supports under the inner ring and the rear mount. The extension arm just prints flat - no supports.
