No one knows exactly what humans are or where they came from. The earliest known human-like species is thought to have lived around six million years ago. However, it wasn't until about two and a half million years ago that the first humans began to appear in Africa. These early humans were much smaller than modern humans, with adults reaching heights of around four feet tall. They also had larger heads and jaws compared to their body size. Over time, humans evolved to become bigger and more intelligent, eventually spreading out across the globe. Today, humans are a diverse species that can be found on every continent.
