Jing's Pyramix
thingiverse
FDM Printable Jing's Pyraminx. Two versions of each piece are available, one with flat faces and one with indented faces. Some stickers have difficulty sticking to layer lines due to a non-smooth surface finish. If you're not planning to sand or smooth the pieces, it's recommended to use the indented versions as the stickers will be less likely to shift and peel off during play. A sticker covers the screw hole for each center piece. The holes in the core are designed for #6 wood screws, which should be tapped into place as you drive them in. Using 1" screws is too long; 1/4" screws caused problems due to being insufficiently long to bite with good friction into the plastic. 3/4" screws would be an ideal size. DXF files are provided for those who have a vinyl cutter for stickers. To apply the stickers, use the indented version and place an oversized cut-out on each face of a piece. Run a small rod around the inside of the indentation to crease the sticker against the walls of the indentation and then trim away excess with an exacto knife.
