Create a UK map jigsaw puzzle with two case options; however, a case isn't necessary as it makes the puzzle easier for little ones to handle. Consider pasting a UK map sticker onto a printed jigsaw or painting it (as I did with an India map jigsaw) for added appeal. Color really enhances the appearance of the puzzle. For the best fit, choose case1 instead of case2 (refer to instructions and pictures for more information). If anyone has a better idea, please share in the comments. Printing Instructions: - Case1: Print using Slic3r with dimensions similar to the map (I used the same as in STL) - Layer Height: 0.25mm (my head is 0.5mm) - Vertical Shells > Perimeters, Horizontal Shells > Solid Layer: Top=0 and Bottom=2 - Infill: Fill density = 0 (creates a hollow object) - For more details, refer to http://slic3r.org/blog. Topic: Tip: Printing Vases - Post processing is minimal Case2: I initially printed this version but spent a lot of time on post-processing, eventually cutting Scotland in half to fit it into the block. This issue arises due to numerous small curves and areas. If you make the map boundary smoother, it will work better.
