Jigsaw Puzzle

thingiverse

This is a DIY jigsaw puzzle project where you create your own custom puzzles from scratch using sturdy pieces that are a tenth inch thick. The puzzle size is limitless. The pieces are labeled with a coding system to help identify their unique shape, and there's no set pattern - each one is individually crafted. To create your puzzle recipe, you'll need to specify the width and height of the puzzle you want to make. You can choose from a range of piece names, each representing a specific shape. Some examples of puzzle recipes include: * A 2x2 puzzle that requires EE10 pieces (4) * A custom 9x6 puzzle with 54 unique pieces * A puzzle with a 1-inch thick piece To make your own puzzle recipe or assemble a custom puzzle, simply choose the piece names and quantities you need. Assembling a custom puzzle can be a challenge. When printing with PLA plastic on a glass bed without heat, it's essential to avoid depositing excess material near the joints, as this can cause warping and lifting. To ensure successful prints, try using a 10% fill rate and take extra care when placing pieces next to each other. Individuals may find it helpful to print each piece separately before assembling them into a complete puzzle. The tolerance between pieces is quite small, so printing a single, large puzzle might be too challenging. If you decide to print a custom puzzle using all the different pieces, we encourage you to share your results and provide feedback on how it went.
