The P1000 weighs heavily at the front, causing issues when utilizing a tripod. Its design shifts the balance point approximately 80 mm, resulting in a slight backward tilt when the lens retracts and a forward lean when it's fully extended. This design comprises two separate parts that are secured together by screws. The screw used for connecting the camera to the tripod is sourced directly from the tripod itself.
