Jig for centering bin in Cube Storage
thingiverse
Print a set of these jigs for each storage cube. Fix them firmly in place at the back of the cube using strong double-sided mounting tape, like Scotch Extremely Strong - 30lb/13.6kg. Then place the Storage cube bin in its cubby and it's nearly perfectly centered every time! Other Stuff You'll Need: - Double-Sided Mounting Tape (I use Scotch Extremely Strong rated at 30lb/13.6kg, available at Home Depot or Amazon.com) Background This Project Began with a Simple Need. I Work on Many Projects (EE, Mechanical, S/W, Amateur Radio, Etc.) and I Need Space to Store Projects in Progress. I Decided to Use the Better Homes and Gardens 12 Cube Storage Organizer with Household Essentials Open Fabric Storage Cube Bins, Both Available at Walmart. These Bins Are Undersized Compared to the Storage Locations, So They Can Always Look Askew. Rather Than Routinely Adjusting Them for a Nice Look, I Created These Jigs to Keep Them Looking Perfectly Aligned. Hey, I'm a Guy with a 3D Printer, So of Course I Made This! Now I Don't Have to Adjust the Bins, and They Always Look Nicely Positioned! If You Find These Useful, Please Let Me Know! Enjoy! Related Things: See Also My Cube Storage Labelling.
