A JHead hot end's termistore receives support from a spork-gear design that eliminates the need for capton tape. However, be cautious as high temperatures may cause the support to deform and potentially loosen the thermistore. This could result in the hot end reaching dangerously high temperatures and melting everything. Ensure a 40mm fan is always mounted and blowing against the support and JHead for successful short-term tests.
