This is my custom built direct drive extruder, the "V10 JGR Extruder", featuring a multitude of innovative improvements over its predecessors. Notably, the hotend mount has been transformed into an extremely rigid and user-friendly system that makes installation and alignment of the hotend a breeze. Moreover, the filament path has been shortened for optimal print performance. In this updated design, the motor now rests directly on the carriage, ensuring smooth and efficient movement. To top it all off, a high-quality idler bearing replaces those frustrating old-fashioned arrow line pen springs, which were notoriously hard to set up correctly. This superior extruder is specifically engineered to accommodate both the Aluhotend and the Jhead.
