JGMAKER DIRECT DRIVE

This is a direct drive adaptor for JGmaker Magic. You will need: -superglue -M8 30mm bolt -bondtech geared extruder -soldering iron -solder lead -5015 24V blower fan (you can run this quietly if you supply it with 12V, don't really need much CFM since the nozzle points directly to the nozzle end) -40mm 24V fan (you can run this quietly by supplying it with 12V, don't need much air... fan directly blows on the extruder heatsink.) -extra wires -patience. Steps: 1.) Pay me. lol need funds for other JGmaker magic upgrades and I really put in effort and time on this :D 2.) Print all the parts. 3.) bolt the Fclamp to the X-axis carriage using M8 30MM bolt, this will also finish the lower assembly and guide wheels. 3.) Glue all the parts together, DO NOT GLUE THE HEATSINK SHROUD ASSEMBLY. 3.a) you must have a really accurate printer for this. 3.b) for gluing the parts together, (refer to the model pics). assemble the upper assembly before gluing it to the lower assembly. 4.) after gluing all parts, mount the stepper motor (connector side up) and bondtech on the upper assembly. 5.) cut a 3-4" Capricorn tube, you will have to do trial and error on this since I don't want to account manufacturing error of different versions of the printer. 6.) after you find that sweetspot where the lower and upper assembly are perfectly leveled and Capricorn tubing isn't bent too much, glue the upper and lower assembly. (BONDTECH and heatsink holes may or may not align, but the deviation will only be 3-5mm depending on how well you did your alignments) 7.) push the fanshroud to the lower assembly, the lower assembly has tabs wherein it'll pinch the fan shroud tight enough for it not to fall when printing. You may or may not glue this depending on you print tolerance. 8.) you now have to flip the connectors on the PCB, desolder all 2-pin connectors and flip it on the other side. All connectors should be on the side where the main connector is. There's two holes on the back side of the upper assembly, this should align the PCB holes, using the screws from the PCB, screw the PCB to the back side of the upper assembly. 9) calibrate your extruder steps. 10)For part blower, you can download part blower from thingiverse as long as you find a way to glue it to the fan shroud. Or you could use mine. quick tip: -screw the Fclamp and Bclamp to the metal assembly before gluing the MBs to the clamp assembly, not all printers are created equal so I made this part as a separate piece to ensure that this issue is solved. -sand the areas where glue will be applied. enjoy! If you have any questions, feel free to ask :) am not responsible for if anything breaks, this model works for me and I am using it as of now on my JGMAKER MAGIC.*
