I needed a tensioner for my JGAurora but couldn't find one, so I designed one myself. This device adjusts the belt routing to have a nice parallel belt/rail setup. The installation is straightforward and easy to understand, with just a few things to keep in mind: You will need: - A drill to make an M5 thread into the X axis V-slot profile. The hole is already there; you just need to add the thread. Please check the attached picture. - 1x M5x20 (depending on the thread in the x rail) - 2x M5x50 (to tension the system) - 4x M5 Nuts - 2 M5x40 Hex screws (axles of the bearings) I'm using M5 screws for the axles with some adapters to keep using the stock pulleys. You need to print the following parts twice: y axis belt tensioner backplate, belt puller, knob Pulley adapter 5mm to 8mm one piece If you like my design, feel free to show your appreciation by sending me a PayPal tip;-) --Update07.05.2019-- A small update on the Backplate, X bracket and Y bracket. --Update 27.05.2019-- I've made the belt puller stronger. --Update 25.08.2019-- After hundreds of prints, I found that the old design of the puller back plate was flawed. So, I doubled the thickness and this should be reliable enough now.
