JGAurora A5 Modifed Z Stop
thingiverse
While I adore my JGAurora A5 (check it out here: https://amzn.to/34zufDS), from day one the gantry came down too far, necessitating a significant adjustment to my bed. Unfortunately, at times it even scraped the top of the case due to insufficient upward adjustment for the Z Axis Switch mount. So in Fusion 360 I created a new design and here it is! A notable point is that I've uploaded both the STL and the Fusion file, so if you need to make modifications, feel free to do so! **Build Notes:** (1) Before attaching the limit switch, thread in the M2 bolts completely and you may need to ream them out a little depending on the type of plastic used. I simply used higher-temperature PLA with no issues. (2) There are two holes in the back station that allow you to reach an Allen wrench tool (such as these: https://amzn.to/2DfzPPU) to remove the two hex head nuts. **Major Favor:** If you create one of these, please post a photo and share it with the community!
