JGAurora A5 - CoreXY Conversion
thingiverse
Here is the text rewritten in an American English tone: I converted my JGAurora A5 to Core-XY. I tried to use as many components as possible from the original printer, so the whole X carrier with hotend and all electronics can be reused, along with most of the rods and other parts. I designed a belt holder for easy belt assembly on the "old" hotend carrier. LM8UU's for the X-Y connection are clip-in/snap-fit. The printer and conversion worked great, so now I want to make the final design available for others. You'll need: - Some GT2 6mm belts (10m should be more than enough) - Four LMF10UU - Two 10mm rails (same as Y-rails on Y of the A5 or just 450mm) - Two 8mm rails, 475mm long - Four 2020 I-Type extrusions, 478mm long - Eight 2020 I-Type extrusions, 490mm long - Lots of 2020 I-Type nuts, M3-M5 nuts and bolts and other parts - I used eight SS F684 ZZ as guide pulleys on the frame and - Four 5mm bore pulleys GT2 for the carriage - At least two additional LM8UU linear bearings - Motor cables/extensions The design is based on designs like the woodcore (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2555558) and other designs for electronics enclosures, for example.
