Very simple Bowden tube adaptors are designed to change the fixtures from M8 to M6 and M10. They allow for a seamless upgrade of existing Bowden tubes. Upgrading my original Bowden tube to a Capricorn PTFE one was a great decision, as it came with solid feeling clamps that made a significant difference. However, the clamp for the extruder was M6 x 1.0 and the one on top of the hot end was M10 x 1.0, whereas standard Bowden tubes have M8 x 1.0 fittings. To solve this issue, I designed these adaptors using Fusion. They work perfectly and stay cool enough to be printed with PLA without any issues, even after several weeks of use. For optimal results, it's recommended to print the adaptors at a layer height of 0.100 mm to capture the detail on the threads. Once printed, clean up the parts before assembly. To install the adaptors, screw them into the extruder and/or hot end, then screw in the fittings as shown. This will prevent the bowden tube from randomly popping out of its clamps. Tip: If the adaptor is too big for the extruder's plastic bracket, try cutting off a few mm from the end. In my case, the "funnel" added to the part to guide the filament into the bowden tube sometimes caused it to flare out, but cutting it off had no negative effects.
