JG A5 Aurora Extruder Problem Solving
thingiverse
This simple part fixes two issues with JG A5 Aurora 3D Printer. 1. JG uses an 8mm Diameter Fitting for the teflon bowden, which fails after many prints due to a faulty connection. Unfortunately, this fitting is not available in Germany, so you can only buy a 6mm Diameter version or order the original Fitting from China via Amazon at a cost of 20€ for two pieces. 2. After every retract-action, the bowden moves slightly towards the extruder motor (see pic.2). This causes problems threading in new colors. Even replacements from China do not resolve this issue. Solution: My fitting adapter converts an 8mm Fitting to 6mm, allowing you to buy ten pieces for just 10€. With a 6mm Fitting, the teflon bowden no longer moves. Note: Before installing this adapter, use a spare bolt M8 and screw M6 to trim the threads. Do not install it yet! Have fun!
