Access to the cemetery is provided through an elegantly designed funeral home (Ciduk hadin) constructed in the distinctive oriental Turkish style. Unique tombstones adorned with diverse inscriptions in Hebrew, Hungarian, German, and Slovak are predominantly made of durable marble, featuring a wide range of shapes. Measuring approximately 65x65 meters, the cemetery is divided into distinct sections aligned from north to south. Interestingly, both men and women are buried within the same graves. Funerals in this cemetery began in the late 19th century, around the 1890s. A significant landmark for this cemetery was the founding of Brotherhood (Chevra Kadisha) in 1892, which took charge of providing funerals and participating in various charitable activities. Notable grave inscriptions date back to: Cecilia Schaffer passed away in 1893; Heinrich Rosenzweig passed away in 1895; and Hermann Ekstein passed away in 1896. This cemetery also houses the graves of deceased family members who lost their lives in concentration camps from 1942-1944: Mešterovà , Drexlerovà , Stern, Wintersteinovà , Schlessingerovej, Singer, Schwarz, Gemeinerovej, Weiss Baroque, Chrakovskej, and Ilofskej.
