Jewelry Casket
thingiverse
I created this custom box for my adorable little niece who is absolutely enchanted by the Frozen movie and wanted a special place to store her cherished jewelry. Since she's just a kid, I designed it a bit larger so there's ample space to hold all her precious treasures. I also anticipate she'll use it to have plenty of fun with her miniature figures. I employed a multi-colored filament to achieve this vibrant look. Additionally, I purchased a package of 200 mirrors that I attached using a glue gun. A sheet of acrylic glass was also included, which I carefully sanded with a fine-grit sanding sponge and applied some glue to prevent rotation while the printer added the initial layer of filament on top of the glass. Bill of Materials: - 200 mirrors (1x1 cm) - €8 - 1 acrylic glass (d=50 mm / h=2.5 mm) - €3 - 1 multi-colored filament - €20 Note: The source file is included, allowing you to modify the space for the acrylic glass as needed. I purchased one glass with a height of 3 mm, but it turned out to be only 2.5 mm high.
