Jewelry Box with Reversible Lid
thingiverse
This is my debut design, a novel container with a reversible lid that serves as a storage space for rings or earrings when they're removed. As the lid flips over, it offers a convenient place to hold them securely. Upon closing, the lid returns to its flat position. I'd greatly appreciate any feedback you have after printing this model – remember, this is my first-ever design, so I'm eager to learn from your experiences! UPDATE: Upon further review, I noticed that the box portion was slightly misaligned with the print surface by 2mm. To address this issue, I've made some adjustments and uploaded revised files. Print Settings: Printer Brand: MakerBot Printer Model: MakerBot Replicator Mini Rafts: Not required Supports: Yes Notes: If you're using a printer similar in size to the MakerBot Replicator Mini, it's best to print the lid and box separately for optimal results. However, on larger printers, you can print this design as a single unit unless you want to use different colors or have limited extruder capabilities. Post-Printing: The only step remaining is to remove any support material (if used) from the honeycomb structure within the box.
