Jewelry Box

Jewelry Box

thingiverse

Simple design for a jewelry box, now refined for smooth assembly. The example shown required some adjustments, as the bottom inset needed slight sanding before the top could fit perfectly. However, I've since tweaked the design to prevent any sanding altogether. If you decide to print this design using wood PLA filament, consider embracing the natural texture of the material. In my opinion, the striations in the print add character and make it look even more appealing without the need for sanding. Update: September 3rd, 2019 - I've added a cross-cutout feature to the top and included a complementary piece that can be inserted into it. While I stained the top, I left the cross section untouched, creating a beautiful two-tone effect.
