A one-of-a-kind jewelry box is an excellent gift idea and home decoration, showcasing that investing in a 3D printer was indeed a good decision. This exquisite jewelry box, boasting a classic shape adorned with a relief of a sitting ballerina, was specifically designed for hassle-free printing with minimal supports required (only a small number of supports were needed for the figurine). The understated form and smooth surface make post-processing a breeze. Such a surface lends itself perfectly to various painting techniques, resulting in a stunning display of glare and shadows. Dimensions: 190 x 190 x 75 mm. Height with figurine: 220 mm. The jewelry box required 390 grams of ABS plastic for printing. Post-processing involved grinding and chemical polishing with ethyl acetate. The acrylic enamels and polyurethane varnish used for coloring were applied with a brush. The lid is composed of two parts, JewelryBox2-1.STL and JewelryBox2-2.STL, glued together. The figurine is securely attached to the lid using a screw. This jewelry box was printed on a Lad-1.0 FDM printer, featuring a 0.5 mm nozzle, 0.2 mm layer height for the case, and 0.15 mm layer height for the figurine.
