An exceptional jewelry box makes for an outstanding gift and home decor item, showcasing the merits of investing in a 3D printer. This Jewelry Box of classic design, adorned with an elegant finial where the Golden Cockerel sits, was engineered specifically to ensure effortless printing without supports for maximum efficiency. The minimalist form and smooth surface are relatively easy to refine during post-processing. Such a surface pairs well with various painting techniques and produces a stunning interplay of light and shadows. Post-processing involves grinding and chemical polishing with ethyl acetate. Coloring is achieved using acrylic enamels and polyurethane varnish, applied with a brush. Jewelry Box 1 dimensions are 160 x 160 x 290 mm. Plastic consumption totals 270 grams. The Jewelry Box 1 shown were printed on an FDM printer Lad-1.0 with a 0.5 mm nozzle, a layer height of 0.2 mm from ABS plastic. The casing is composed of three parts: CasketBox1-Body.STL, CasketBox1-Bung.STL, and CasketBox1-Ring.STL. The box cover is available in two versions: 1. A one-piece lid - CasketBox1-Top.STL; 2. A cover assembled from three parts (such parts are printed more easily): CasketBox1-Top1.STL, CasketBox1-Top2.STL, and CasketBox1-Top3.STL. The Golden Cockerel is composed of two parts: CasketBox1-GoldenCockerel-L.STL and CasketBox1-GoldenCockerel-R.STL. The cap finial is reinforced with a steel pin measuring 2 mm in diameter and 150 mm in length, protruding from the Golden Cockerel figurine.
