The Jewel Tower stands as a testament to the rich history of Westminster London, its interior rooms brought to life through an animated cross-section that reveals the treasures within. This ancient structure is a surviving fragment of the original Palace of Westminster, built to safeguard the monarch's treasure and personal possessions until 1512. The ground floor boasts an exquisite carved stone ceiling, now home to a bustling cafe, shop, and entrance, while the remainder of the tower houses a small yet fascinating museum. Date: 14th Century https://www.english-heritage.org.uk/visit/places/jewel-tower/ https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jewel_Tower The ground floor side chamber lies hidden, repurposed as a storage room for the shop and cafe. The roof remains unseen, its capture thwarted by technical limitations. Photos captured with Sony Nex3 (exterior) in May 2013 and Sony a6000 (interior) in October 2019 were processed in Agisoft Metashape, then merged and refined within Autodesk Maya.
