Jew's harp - Dan Moi - Doromb - Mouth harp
thingiverse
This is a significantly revised Dan Moi - Jew's or mouth harp based on jprodgers concept, as the sound wasn't sharp, well-defined and long enough for me. I created several different versions before this basic one. The first STL file is recommended for beginners or children, while the V10th version is much thinner and recommended for advanced players, offering a significantly better sound. This instrument is extremely sensitive to tongue weight, spring stiffness, and other tuning factors, so you can easily adjust it from the slicer using infill density. However, for a longer lifespan, I recommend 100% infill. For an ideal musical instrument, the thin gap around the tongue (0.5 mm in diameter) should be clear and unobstructed. Therefore, your printer needs to be precise! The tongue must move freely without hitting anything, and the gap should be as small as possible. After printing, use a sharp cutter blade for post-processing. If your printer is perfect, simply remove the brim and enjoy playing!
