I redesigned the main compartment to accommodate a 6 inch clear plastic dome, which I sourced from Amazon and purchased at https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01LZMZG5M/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1. I then carefully trimmed the flange off the dome to ensure it fit snugly within a recessed area of the car body.
