JetBoil Lid

JetBoil Lid

I misplaced the lid for my backpacking JetBoil stove. Fortunately, I have a 3D printer at my disposal. The replacement part is crafted from PLA plastic, which can withstand temperatures of up to 180°c+. Water boils at a significantly lower temperature of 100°c. Given that the titanium component of the JetBoil rapidly cools down, it's unlikely to exceed 180°c. However, I haven't conducted any rigorous testing yet. Users should be cautious and closely monitor the performance if they're not placing the stove over an open flame. This is especially crucial during extended use in extremely cold environments. This weekend, I'm heading out for a hike and winter backcountry snowboarding expedition.
