Jetboat

This Custom Speed Boat is a reinvented version inspired by the outstanding work of wersy, I suggest checking out his build instructions first! : http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:930577 Speed Boat 3 RC This design remake incorporates jet propulsion technology. To provide stability for the propeller shaft, an 8 mm brass rod is used with a 4 mm hole drilled into it; two pieces are required, one for the boat and another for the nozzle. The propeller shaft itself is a 4 mm brass rod. You may need to design your own engine, servo, and battery mounts according to your specific parts. Tip: the center of the propeller shaft is positioned 22mm above the keel. A 3D Printed Propeller has been included; it's functional but not optimal, so purchasing a better one might be advisable. However, it does work effectively. The coupler, on the other hand, should be made from brass; while the 3D printed version is suitable for prototyping, relying solely on it may not be wise. Have Fun rebuilding this speed boat and make sure to capture your progress with photos and videos; sharing them would be greatly appreciated! Here's a video showcasing its capabilities: https://youtu.be/HfhmLER2pCo For those who want to build it without the STL files, you can find the instructions here: http://www.thingiverse.com/make:265357 The STL files for the cover are available at: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:930577 They fit perfectly unmodified. A practical servo mount is also provided here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3234221 Seeing this design in action can be quite inspiring, as evidenced by this successful rebuild: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0tKGmv5ApTE&t=209s And here's another scaled-up version that turned out well too: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iI5PZeeofO0 It's great to see the design being used in such creative ways.
