Jet Lathe Backboard Clip
thingiverse
Humans clip a MDF board to the back of the Jet lathe in the shop, securing it under the lip of the back pan. The post that holds the digital read out has already been installed, attaching the other side of the board there. The board provides additional coverage to prevent chips from flying behind and offers places to hang tools and part bins. This reduces the amount of clutter on top of the lathe, keeping it in the way less.
