The original Low Bypass Turbofan (Pratt & Whitney F100) model was created by GrabCAD, specifically designed by Chris Shakal. To showcase its different stages, the STEP file was imported into Keyshot 4.1 and assigned distinct linked materials to each sub-assembly in a 'toon' style. This method provides an easy-to-understand visual representation of the various stages within this jet engine. Later on, the Environment Shadows feature was discovered and implemented for improved imagery. Additionally, some images were created using real materials alongside the stylized toon rendered parts to emphasize certain features in a unique manner.
